Sztáray: Hungary supports EU and NATO path of BiH

SARAJEVO, March 7 (FENA) - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Josip Brkić met yesterday with Secretary of State of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Sztáray, who led the Ministry's delegation.

They talked about the current situation in BiH, European and Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH and migrant crisis.

Deputy Minister Brkić informed Sztáray about the process of formation of government on all levels in BiH after the General Elections.

Deputy Minister emphasized commitment of BiH on its EU integration process and acceleration of that process.

He thanked for the support Hungary has been giving to BiH in the EU and NATO integration process.

He added he hopes that the European Commission will give positive opinion for BiH's membership in the EU soon.

Secretary of State Sztáray emphasized importance of forming the government in BiH soon, in accordance with the election results, and further Hungarian support to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH.

They also discussed general security situation in the region in context of migrant crisis, BiH MFA stated.
