MOSTAR, February 27 (FENA) - Government of the Federation of BiH accepted in Mostar today initiative of Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton for adoption of a special Federation Law on Civilian Victims of War to better regulate this area and improve their position.
Federation Ministry of Labor and Social Policy is in charge of preparing the Pre-draft Law on Civilian Victims of War in the Federation of BiH within six months, PR Office of Government of FBiH stated.
It is stated that reason for the initiative is the need to regulate status of civilian victims of war with a special Federation law to improve their position within reform in area of social protection and secure ongoing and integral exercise of material compensation and other rights regulated by Federation regulation in effect, because adequate cantonal laws and bylaws have not been adopted.
