Group of around 100 migrants from Bira and Miral transferred to Ušivak

BIHAĆ, February 24 (FENA) - Group of around 100 migrants who stayed at shelters Bira and Miral in Bihać and Velika Kladuša were transferred to Ušivak in Hadžići yesterday.

Ministry of Security of BiH confirmed that this decision was issued by the state operational headquarters and that transport was organized under jurisdiction of Service for Foreigners’ Affairs of BiH, with assistance from members of Ministry of Interior of Una-Sana Canton (USC MoI).

It was emphasized this is the first group of migrants and refugees relocated from area of Una-Sana Canton, considering that total of 250 persons will be transferred to other shelters in BiH.

Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić emphasized this actually implements decision on capacity of shelters in area of USC and that all levels of government in the state agree that capacity cannot be exceeded due to control of security and health situation.
