SARAJEVO, February 7 (FENA) - The Democratic Front (DF) will support the demand of the families of victims of genocide to send an inquiry to the countries from which the members of the so-called "Commission for the Investigation of the Suffering of Serbs in Sarajevo from 1991 to 1995,” and the “Commission for the Investigation of the Suffering of All Peoples in the Srebrenica Region in the period 1992-1995”, are coming from, stated the DF today.
“We in DF believe that the formation of such a commission alone is a political attempt by Republika Srpska government to place the denial of the genocide on the international arena and to completely change the character of the military conflict that was marked by the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and the genocide that had been committed in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” it is said in the statement.
This is a monstrous attempt by the RS government to internationalize the denial of genocide, considers this party.
“We believe that it is crucial for these countries to issue their statements and to offer an explanation given that this is a clear intent to deny the judicial facts established by the United Nations court,” said the DF in the statement.
