Meeting of ambassadors of countries members of PIC begins in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, January 29 (FENA) - Ambassadors of member countries of the Peace Implementation Council (PIC) are in session today in Sarajevo, at the request of the Russian Federation Ambassador to BiH, Petr Ivantsov.

Ivantsov requested a session to discuss the initiative of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) on the change of the name of Republika Srpska and the initiative to question the constittuonality of its name before the BiH Constitutional Court.

The Russian Ambassador yesterday met with the BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik to discuss this issue ahead of today’s session.

None of the participants gave statements prior to the beginning of the session.
