Čović - Rusten: Relations between BiH and Norway extremely good and friendly

SARAJEVO, November 14 (FENA) - Member of the BiH Presidency Dragan Čović, received today Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to BiH, Guri Rusten, and at the beginning of the meeting, they jointly concluded that the relations between the two countries are exceptionally good and friendly.

Čović informed Ambassador Rusten about the ongoing situation in BiH and said that “it was necessary to amend the Election Law as soon as possible, in order to ensure the legitimate representation of constituent peoples at all levels of government.”

Ambassador Rusten was also interested in activation of MAP for BiH, and Čović said that the majority of the work has been done and that the activation of MAP would be a major impetus for other reforms in BiH.

At the end of the meeting, Čović thanked Ambassador Rusten for the overall support that Norway has provided to BiH, and wished her a lot of success in her diplomatic career, stated the BiH Presidency.
