FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, September 25 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina today approved the Proposal for annex V of the Agreement concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Norway on financing projects for the benefit of the judiciary and/or courts and prosecutor offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Annex V of the Agreement provides for the provision of additional financial resources necessary for the implementation of the planned project activities in order to improve the quality of the judicial system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In order to implement the Project "Improving the quality of the judiciary," the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) has prepared Annex V to a previously concluded agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Norway, creating preconditions for continuing the project and further strengthening the work of the courts and the HJPC in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project "Improving the quality of the judiciary" will be implemented through trilateral cooperation with the Norwegian Judicial Administration and the Netherlands Judicial Council, and in cooperation with the designated courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
