OSCE to present assessment of the situation regarding migrants and refugees

SARAJEVO, September 24 (FENA) - The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, 25 September, will present an assessment of the situation regarding migrants and refugees in BiH at a press conference in Sarajevo, focusing on an overview of key stakeholders on the ground.

The mission has completed the assessment of the needs of migrants and refugees in the country during the first half of 2018 with the aim of helping competent institutions and organizations to adequately respond to the increased number of migrants and refugees in order to give recommendations for the improvement of the current practice, the OSCE said.

Ambassador of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Bruce G. Berton, Head of the Department at the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, Medžid Lipjankić and, UNHCR Senior Advisor for International Protection, Stephanie Woldenberg will address the media.
