TRAVNIK, September 17 (FENA) - Eighteen victims from the previous war were identified today in the ossuary of the Prahulje cemetery in Travnik.
The identified persons are the victims of Croat nationality who went missing in the village of Bikoše in the area of Travnik.
Spokeswoman of the Missing Persons Institute of BiH, Lejla Čengić, told FENA that the remains of identified victims were exhumed in 1996 and 2001, from two mass graves found in the village of Bikoše.
Three brothers of the Balta family were identified - Anto, Nikica and Jozo, aged 21 to 34 years.
Also, two brothers of the Barač family were identified - Bojan, who was 22 years old and Davor, who was 17 years old when they were killed.
Father and son of Bobaš family - Niko and Goran, who was 22 years old, were also identified.
Čengić said that the remains of one of the brothers Tavić - Mijo or Jakov, have also been identified today.
She explained that only part of the foot was found, so it was impossible to determine to whom of the brothers the part of the found skeleton belongs.
Identity of the victims was determined on the basis of DNA analysis, and today their identities have been confirmed by members of their families.
