BANJA LUKA, August 28 (FENA) - An extraordinary session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS) in connection to the David Dragičević case will not be held, it was announced after today's session of the assembly collegium.
The convening of the session was requested by 32 deputies from the opposition, however, this request was rejected by the votes of the ruling majority in the assembly collegium.
An MP in RSNA Adam Šukalo, member of the parliamentary group of PDP, said that "it is a terrible and hypocritical decision not to hold an extraordinary session of the parliament".
"Nedeljko Čubrilović, together with Milorad Dodik, violated the Constitution and the parliamentary procedures. This must not be happening. This is a terror of the parliamentary majority," Šukalo said, adding that this has never been a procedure of deciding on the content of the agenda and the time of holding of the session.
Members of the opposition parties SDS, PDP and NDP proposed only one agenda item for the session: "Review of the unconstitutional and illegal actions of some representatives of the RS institutions in the case of the murder of David Dragičević."
