SARAJEVO, August 24 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović stated today that Government of Kosovo has annulled final protective measures for BiH to the export of milk and dairy products to Kosovo, which means our efforts to solve this problem in accordance with the principles of free trade have been appreciated.
Decision on annulment of the measures holds great importance for the dairy industry in BiH because market of Kosovo is one of the most important markets for export of milk and dairy products from BiH.
"Customs duty on export of milk is no longer charged to our exporters," emphasized Šarović, explaining that annulment of the earlier disputed measures by Pristina is a result of joint activities of CEFTA countries and a ministerial meeting which was held in Belgrade, which apart from Šarović was attended by Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Macedonia Ljupco Nikolovski and Head of Directorate for Regional Cooperation of Ministry of Economy of Montenegro Goran Šćepanović.
