ICRC delegations pay tribute to the killed humanitarian and activists

SARAJEVO, August 20 (FENA) - Representatives of the Red Cross, on the occasion of marking the World Humanitarian Day, visited today the memorial to the killed humanitarian workers and Red Cross activists at the Višegrad Gate in Vratnik neighborhood in Sarajevo. 

They paid tribute to the humanitarians and activists who gave their lives helping the citizens of Sarajevo during the difficult days of the aggression on Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all humanitarian workers who were injured or died during their humane work. 

Delegations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Red Cross of the Sarajevo Canton and the Red Cross of the Municipality of Stari Grad all laid flowers at the memorial at Višegrad Gate.
