SARAJEVO, 15.augusta (FENA) - Sarajevo Film Festival signed 5050X2020 Charter for gender equality in film festivals as a contribution to establishing equality of women in film industry.
The charter implies having a more detailed statistics in films registered and selected for participation and having equal share of women in leading positions in festivals.
Sarajevo Film Festival draws attention to high representation of women in all segments of the festival by gathering female directors, judges, producers, actresses and other female film workers who are participating in Sarajevo Film Festival programs on the red carpet at 19:10 hours in front of the National Theater today.
This way Sarajevo Film Festival joins support to achieving full equality by 2020 and it delivers a strong message to community of film workers and to the world on gender equality.
Charter 5050X2020 was signed by Director of Sarajevo Film Festival Mirsad Purivatra, SFF stated.
