SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - USAID project, Diaspora Invest, presented 11 companies, beneficiaries of grant worth 400 000 KM in Sarajevo today, that were selected based on the second call for allocation of grants.
Selected companies are MRD Engineering d.o.o. Čelinac, SB Laser Kozarac, Delta plus d.o.o. Sanski Most, CNC Lab d.o.o. Sanski Most, FITS d.o.o. Sarajevo, H2I Balkans d.o.o. Sarajevo, Ekonomik Group d.o.o. Srebrenica, Bonatura d.o.o. Jelah, Galop Digital d.o.o. Travnik, Intuitiva d.o.o. Visoko and KMC Kupres.
Head of Department for Economic Development of the USAID Mission to BiH Andrew Boegel commended representatives of the companies for their courage to start their businesses in the first place, but also for taking advantage of opportunities given to them in BiH and taking a certain risk.
"USAID invested 400.000 KM but the selected companies invested more than 3.5 million KM, which is exactly the form of partnership and cooperation we strive for," said Boegel.
He added he expects the investments to result in 62 new workplaces in nine BiH cities.
