Fazlić informs Wigemark and Inzko about the ongoing migration crisis in Bihać

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, July 12 (FENA) - Mayor of Bihać Šuhret Fazlić today in Sarajevo met with the Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative to BiH Lars Gunnar Wigemark and High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko and talked about the ongoing situation with the migrant crisis in Bihać.

He stressed the need for the competent state authorities to finally start doing their job, or to begin addressing the issue of adequate care and accommodation of illegal migrants residing in Bihać.

“I informed the international community officials about the situation in Bihać that is alarming and asked for their help and to put pressure on the state institutions to resolve the migrant crisis that has hit Bihać and which has been going on for several months without the visible readiness of the competent institutions to tackle the problem, and that is what the citizens of Bihać expect from them,” said Fazlić.
