SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - Secretary General of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Halid Genjac, submitted the candidates’ lists of the party to the BiH Central Election Commission this morning for the upcoming general elections in BiH.

Genjac told reporters that SDA, as "the largest political party and the most important political entity in BiH," submitted lists for 39 constituencies, that is, for all the constituencies in the entire territory of BiH, excluding only the constituency for the area of the West Herzegovina Canton.

In all the constituencies except those in the territory of the entity of RS, SDA will go in the elections independently, and for the National Assembly of RS, it will perform as part of the Coalition "Together for BiH".

“A total of 462 candidates are on the SDA's candidates’ lists, while on all the lists, including the separate lists and lists where we are in the coalition, there are 555 candidates of the Party of Democratic Action,” said Genjac.

Of all the candidates, 232 are women, while on the independent lists of SDA there are 191 women, i.e. 42 percent. At the same time, more than 30 percent of young people are on the lists; more than 30 percent of names appear on the lists for the first time.

Regarding the educational structure, Genjac said that 86 percent of candidates are with higher education, while 14 percent of them are with secondary education.

“Taking into account the lists and the candidates on the lists, we expect success, we expect the victory of SDA, of course, the victory in the Federation of BiH, and we expect a significant election result in the territory of RS. We want the success of the Coalition "Together for BiH", with the expectation that this coalition would have a significant election result to be a decisive factor in constituting the executive power in RS,” said Genjac.
