SARAJEVO, June 25 (FENA) - President of the Federation of BiH Marinko Čavara received Ambassador of Japan to BiH Hideyuki Sakamoto in an inaugural visit.
They talked about current political issues in BiH and possibilities of enhancement of cooperation between Japan and the Federation of BiH, especially in areas of tourism, education and culture, PR Office of President of FBiH stated.
Ambassador Sakamoto said that during his mandate he would advocate strengthening of relations between Japan and BiH. He also emphasized that even though Japan is not the EU member, it supports BiH's path to the EU.
President of the Federation of BiH Marinko Čavara thanked Government of Japan for its assistance to BiH, especially during the floods in 2014. He also emphasized that projects of Japan are very recognizable in the public and they contribute to securing better conditions for every citizen of BiH.
