SARAJEVO, June 19 (FENA) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo signed an Agreement on Scientific, Educational and Professional Cooperation at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ranko Debevec, President of the Court of BiH, and Emira Hodžić, Registrar of the Court of BiH, welcomed Hajrija Sijerčić-Čolić, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Fikret Karčić, PhD, Vice-Dean.
The Court President noted that theory and practice need to be mutually coordinated and expressed his satisfaction that the Agreement has been signed.
The existing cooperation between the two institutions has been formalized and the goal is to improve the relations further.
Dean Sijerčić-Čolić said that the Agreement encompassed various types of activities and expressed her willingness to host joint workshops, round table discussions and seminars.
The participants at the meeting voiced a strong mutual commitment to cooperation, with focus on students as well as other forms of scientific and professional cooperation.
The activities aimed at implementing the goals of this Agreement will commence in the new academic year, stated the BiH Court.
