SARAJEVO, June 7 (FENA) - Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Adil Osmanović spoke with Political Adviser to the Ministry of Defense of Belgium for the Western Balkans, Joris Vanhee, about the activities of the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs in light of the ongoing situation in the country.
The two officials concluded that the maximum effort should be made to ensure that the activities in the election year, especially in the context of the negotiations on amendments to the Election Law, do not have a negative effect on the functioning of the institutions.
"During this period, all political actors should refrain from topics that raise distrust among the citizens," said Minister Osmanović.
Osmanović and Vanhee discussed the migrant issue who are currently passing through Bosnia and Herzegovina on their route to EU countries.
Minister Osmanović expressed concern because of the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina has no resources for long-term care and accommodation of a large number of migrants, stated the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs.
