SARAJEVO, June 4 (FENA) - Civil Rights Defenders announced the opening of the "The Balkan Route" exhibition tomorrow at the History Museum of BiH in Sarajevo, in conjunction with the exhibition of photos from the project "People of Sarajevo".
"The Balkan Route" is an exhibition of 44 photographs by Marko Đurica featuring daily struggles and violations of human rights faced by refugees, migrants and asylum seekers from the Middle East on their way to a better life.
"Imrana Kapetanović's project 'People of Sarajevo' tells stories about Sarajevo reminding that there are wonderful people who do wonderful things in this city. Exhibited photographs show the refugees that have come to Sarajevo," the Civil Rights Defenders stated.
The exhibition is part of the Refugees Welcome, an event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, within which a concert of support of Dubioza Kolektiv and Helem Nejse will be held.
The announcement adds that the Balkans leaders will meet in Sarajevo on June 7 to discuss cooperation with the aim of "addressing border security issues".
