Bulgarian Ambassador Cvetkova-Karabaseva visits Zenica-Doboj Canton

ZENICA, May 30 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to BiH, Avgustina Cvetkova-Karabaseva met today with the Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Miralem Galijašević, who informed about the ongoing economic and political situation in the canton.

Ambassador Karabaseva said that the Western Balkans is very important for the EU and that it needs to remain part of the European integration process.

“We need to work on its strengthening. During our EU Presidency we managed to put BiH back at the forefront of the European Union focus points and we will continue to support BiH on this path. This region is very important for the European Union and we share a common future,” said Ambassador Cvetkova-Karabaseva.

Prime Minister Galijašević stressed that every visit of ambassadors of friendly countries offers satisfaction , and he was especially pleased with this visit because, as he said, it opens the path for the future business cooperation with ZDC, which is the most developed canton, primarily export oriented, stated the ZDC press office.
