SARAJEVO, May 22 (FENA) - The value of export from BiH to Greece was nearly 20 million KM last year, whereas 74.1 million KM worth of goods was imported from Greece.
BiH export to Greece increased compared to 2016, when it valued 11.3 million KM, as well as import from Greece, which was approximately 67 million KM that year.
Volume of trade exchange between the two countries was nearly 94 million KM last year.
Some of the leading export products in 2017 were: products for fair or social games, cardboard, lighters, electric detonators, raw tobacco, etc.
Leading import products in 2017 were: citrus, fresh or dry, structures and parts of structures (for example bridges, towers, roofs, etc.), aluminum products and food products.
BiH-Greece Business Forum is taking place in Athens today, organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH in cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH and Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH.
Aim of visit of state-business delegation of BiH to Greece is improving economic relations between the two countries and presenting investment and business opportunities in BiH and direct connection of businessmen of the two countries.
Focus of the Business Forum is engineering and infrastructure, food industry, metal processing industry, furniture and interior, tourism and defense industry.
Memorandum of Understanding will also be signed during the Forum between Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH.
