Izetbegović: Let us use Ramadan to renew unity and mutual trust

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 15 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović congratulated Ramadan, wishing Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and diaspora "good health and easy fasting".

“May our days of physical abstinence bring us back to true spiritual values. Let us make use of Ramadan to renew unity and mutual trust, and to strengthen our family and neighborhood bonds, with a commitment to God. Let us pay special attention to people to whom solidarity and help in these days are most needed. The dark shadow over our joy for the coming of the month of God's guidance, grace and forgiveness was cast by a massacre of innocent civilians in Palestine. Let us be with them in our prayers and with all the people around the world who are suffering from injustice and oppression,” Mr. Izetbegović said, the BiH Presidency PR Department stated.
