SARAJEVO, May 9 (FENA) - The FBiH Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina met today with the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Nadeem Ilahi and discussed the upcoming steps in implementing the measures from the Letter of Intent and the conclusion of the second review of the standby arrangement .
Representatives of the IMF supported the quarterly report on the FBiH budget execution, which is fully in line with the envisaged public spending criteria.
Milićević informed Ilahi and members of the IMF mission about the situation with drafting bylaws.
In particular, the Law on Income Tax and the Law on Contributions, which will soon be discussed by the government at one of the upcoming sessions and which should have the effect of relieving the burden from business entities.
They also underlined a record amount in this year's budget for capital investments, especially for road construction.
The collocutors also discussed the main goals of the Government in terms of fiscal reforms, the Development Bank and the coordination of policies with cantons, municipalities and non-budgetary funds.
At the end of the meeting, Milićević congratulated Ilahi on his promotion and wished him success in future endeavors, stated the FBiH Government Public Relations Office.
