Šarović: As of today, BiH continues with unimpeded exports to Turkey

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 9 (FENA) - The Turkish Government has postponed the implementation of a new decision on the imports of flour, oil and sugar from our country.

The postponing takes effect today and the exports of BiH products continues unimpeded, said Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Mirko Šarović.

It is a decision that has previously stopped the exports of these products to Turkey, which has caused concern with BiH producers.

Thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and Minister Šarović, the application of the decision has been postponed and will be discussed next week.

In order to protect domestic businesses, the coming period will be used to harmonize future procedures in trade and find the best solutions for unimpeded exports of BiH products to the designated markets, stated the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
