SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed Zoran Galić as Director and Fahrudin Halač as Deputy Director of the BiH Border Police.
Mirsad Vilić was appointed Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH, and as his Deputies Ivica Bošnjak and Ranko Vuković.
Đuro Knežević was appointed Deputy Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency.
These appointments were made after the Council of Ministers became acquainted with the ranking list of successful candidates for the election of directors and deputy directors of police bodies proposed by the Independent Committee as an independent body of the police structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and after the completion of the public procedure.
At the session, at the proposal of the Independent Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Uroš Pena's request for dismissal of the Deputy Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Authorities because of retirement, was accepted, the BiH Council of Ministers stated.
