SARAJEVO, March 28 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš met today with delegation of NATO Headquarters from Brussels, led by Paul Savereux and Rok Kosirnik.
Delegation of NATO HQ from Brussels is paying a working visit to Ministry of Defense of BiH to discuss implementation of BiH-NATO Cooperation Partnership Aims.
Participants of the meeting emphasized they are pleased with the implementation of the partnership aims and progress that has been made in all areas that were subject of the discussion and analysis at yesterday's meeting of NATO delegation and heads of organizational units from Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH.
Pendeš informed Savereux and Kosirnik about current reform activities in Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH and progress in the process of registration of perspective military property as Tallinn condition for activation of MAP.
Guests from Department for Defense Cooperation and Planning of NATO HQ from Brussels assessed quality progress has been made in implementation of partnership goals, and that they will work on opening new partnership aims in the upcoming period that will strengthen defense and security capability of BiH AF and develop forces that are interoperable and ready to take part in peace support operations, training and exercises.
Meeting was attended y Chief of Joint Staff of BiH AF General Mayor Senad Mašović and Deputy Chief of Joint Staff for Operations Brigadier General Ivica Jerkić, PR Office of BiH MoD stated.
