Zvizdić and Danielsson discuss political situation in BiH Reform Agenda measures

SARAJEVO, March 16 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić met today in Sarajevo with the Director-General for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson and Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey in the European External Action Service (EEAS) Angelina Eichhorst.

Chairman Zvizdić informed the guests about the current political situation in BiH.

He stressed the importance of the process of preparing the responses to the European Commission Questionnaire has ad on the process of European integration of BiH, not only as an integral part of the process of preparing the opinion of the European Commission on the application for membership but also in the context of its impact on improving coordination of BiH institutions in carrying out activities related to the process of integrating BiH into the European Union, as well as the advancement of the entire BiH society in the administrative, legal, political and economic sense.

Chairman Zvizdić informed Director Danielsson about the degree of implementation of the Reform Agenda measures.

He said that over 70% of the measures under the competences of the BiH Council of Ministers have been fully implemented and that the coming period would be devoted to finalizing the goals of the Reform Agenda.

He stressed that the key goals of the BiH Council of Ministers will continue to be European and NATO integration, as well as strengthening the rule of law, which is especially important for the continuation of all the reforms.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the European Union Delegation to BiH and the EU Special Representative, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
