SARAJEVO, March 5 (FENA) – Ćamil Duraković, leader of “Response” movement, supported the initiative of Vice-President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Melika Mahmutbegović to protect the constituency of the Serb people in FBiH and emphasized that Bosniaks must demonstrate readiness to protect the equality of all citizens throughout the territory of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“First of all, Serbs are constituent people in FBiH, and the name of Serb language and the Cyrillic script is protected. However, we have to make sure that the constitutionality of Serb returnees is ensured in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Canton 10, West Herzegovina Canton and Central Bosnia Canton, as well as equal protection mechanisms that Bosniaks and Croats have in these cantons,” Mr. Duraković said.
“We are looking for a unified agreement that will support entity governments and assemblies regarding constitutional changes that will protect the full constitutionality of Serbs in FBiH, and guarantee the protection of Bosnian language in RS,” Mr. Duraković concluded, the “Response” movement stated.
