MOSTAR, Feb 28 (FENA) – On Wednesday, the former HVO members gathered in the Association "Forgotten Defenders", staged protests in Herzegovinian towns of Siroki Brijeg, Ljubuski and Capljina.
They announced the blockade of the Bijaca border crossing, but the police prevented them from doing so.
The demobilized veterans gathered in Siroki Brijeg were received by the Cantonal Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Mladen Begic.
The protesters demand from the FBiH Government to make public a register of veterans, allowances, and the abolition of financing of veterans' associations.
