MOSTAR, Feb 26 (FENA) - A meeting of representatives of parliamentary parties began in Mostaron Monday at about 11:00 hrs with the aim to reach agreement on the Mostar election issue.
The meeting involving representatives of nine parliamentary parties is held behind closed door, after which media statements are to follow.
To remind, yesterday a meeting of representatives of SDP, SBB and DF was held at which necessity for Mostar elections to be held was pointed out and the readiness expressed for maximum compromises to reach an agreement at last.
The last local elections in Mostar were held in 2008, and the Constitutional Court of BiH, by a ruling of 2010, ordered for the Mostar City Statute to be amended, declaring it unconstitutional on two grounds.
