SARAJEVO, February 9 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to BiH Augustina Tzvetkov-Karabashev thanked director of Sarajevo Winter Festival Ibro Spahić and his associates for excellent organization of the solemn opening of the 34th edition of the international festival.
She also commended the cooperation during Bulgaria's participation as an honorary guest of this-year's edition, as an expression of the existing friendly relations and mutual desire for additional development of cultural cooperation.
"I am convinced that concert of the Bulgarian orchestra significantly contributed to motto of the Festival 'The other Face of the World' and it was an opportunity for the audience in BiH to learn about Bulgarian composers and interpretation of world authors. It was my honor to receive the Freedom award on behalf of the Republic of Bulgaria for contribution to humanism, human rights and freedom in BiH, Europe and the world," Ambassador of Bulgaria stated in a letter sent to Spahić.
She once again stressed commitment of the Republic of Bulgaria to further support Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH.
"Looking forward to our future cooperation, allow me to conclude with a slogan of Bulgarian chairmanship of the Council of the EU 'Together we are stronger'," concluded Bulgarian Ambassador.
