SARAJEVO, December 18 (FENA) - To mark the fact that BiH has received EU candidate status, nine bridges in the centre of Sarajevo were illuminated in blue on Friday night.
"From the Eiffel Bridge in Skenderija, to the Šeherćehaja Bridge near the City Hall, we celebrated the decision on candidate status in a symbolic way," the EU Delegation in BiH announced.
"Candidate status is an important sign that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a place in the European Union. We believe in the European future of BiH," EU Delegation stated.
