SARAJEVO, October 4 (FENA) - The fifth business matching between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Indonesia took place today in Sarajevo, organized by the Embassy of Indonesia in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Indonesian Ambassador Roem Kono stated at the opening of the event that the government of his country has always supported the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries, and that from May 2022, BiH nationals can visit Indonesia with a visa upon arrival.
"The focus of this activity is the promotion of trade exchange, especially food, beverages, coffee, spices, cosmetics, herbs, wood, fashion, as well as leading products such as paper, palm oil, fats and charcoal," stated Ambassador Kono.
He called on the business communities in Indonesia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen the supply chain and trade.
"After this event, I hope that there will be interest from both sides for which the Embassy will be able to facilitate transactions and business agreements," said Kono.
Deputy Minister of Trade of Indonesia, Jerry Sambuaga, pointed out that today's business matching event has great potential and importance, not only for strengthening trade connections but also for better acquaintance and understanding between the two peoples.
Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hamdo Tinjak, emphasized that, although trade between the two countries could be greater, it should be recognized that in a relatively short time, this business forum enabled a better connection between the two economies.
