SARAJEVO, August 10 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA), Dragan Čović, today received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, Margret Uebber, in a farewell visit.

During the conversation with Ambassador Uebber, Čović emphasized once again that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a multinational country in which the constitutional and legal architecture must be consistently respected and implemented at all levels of government. Such, which, understandably, must enable the highest standards that imply full and equal political decision-making and legitimate representation of all three constituent peoples and all other citizens of BiH.

The urgent reform process of the BiH Electoral Law is a necessary policy and legal prerequisite for the continuation of the European path and the acquisition of candidate status, which will strengthen the stability and functionality of the state.

The meeting also discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, the high level of political relations in the context of BiH's commitment to the European path, trade exchange and economic investments, as well as direct investments by the German authorities.
