SARAJEVO, May 3 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović said today that the General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held and that the funds would be secured and called for an end to attempts at obstruction.

"Elections will be held, the funds for the election will be secured. In my opinion, there is no dilemma. The Central Election Commission will call elections tomorrow, as required by law. I invite everyone within Bosnia and Herzegovina, who intend to participate in the General Election to do their job. I call on all those who thought of making obstructions, of any kind, to stop right away," Džaferović emphasized in a statement to the media.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović said that the General Elections in BiH must be held.

"I think that the budget will be adopted and that we will have a budget and regular elections. If that legal and constitutional obligation is avoided, then the OHR will have to react and impose either a budget or a decision to find funds for the elections. There must be an election," said Izetbegović.

Tomorrow, the Central Election Commission of BiH should announce the general elections in BiH in the shadow of numerous open issues, including the issue of financing the election process.
