BARCELONA, February 7 (FENA) - Eight architectural designs from Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete in the prestigious European selection of the best Baumit facades, to be held in Valencia, Spain.
In the category of public buildings, Bosnia and Herzegovina is represented by the design that won an award at the Piran Architecture Days - "Greenpark Symphony" on Mount Trebević, as well as the Elementary School "Umihana Čuvidina" and the 20th-century building in Džidžikovac in Sarajevo.
Voters from Bosnia and Herzegovina can also vote for nominated designs at the prestigious international competition.
In the last few years, there has been a growing international interest from architects, investors and processors for this award.
In the category of "Family House", the nominees are "Splitska", and "Residential Building" - "Park Lake" Tuzla and "Sjenjak SPO".
The "Wine Gallery" facility in Trebinje was nominated for "Thermal Rehabilitation" building design, and in the "Historical Rehabilitation" category, it is the "Villa J" in Mostar, the organizers said.
