SARAJEVO, January 18 (FENA) - In 2021, the Federation of BiH achieved 211,902 tons of corn-grain production, which is 30.4 percent less than in 2020. In the production of industrial plants, soybean production decreased by 40 .9 percent, and in tobacco production a decrease of 22.8 percent compared to 2020.
Potato production was 22.1 percent lower than in the previous year, according to the FBiH Bureau of Statistics.
In the production of fodder plants, there was a decrease in the production of clover by 21.7 percent, alfalfa by 21.6 percent, corn for fodder by 15.2 percent and grass-clover mixtures by 17.2 percent compared to 2020.
Fruit production of apples decreased by 10.5 percent and plums by 27.6 percent compared to 2020.
Total grape production was 4.1 percent lower than in 2020.
