SARAJEVO, October 24 (FENA) - FBiH Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Amir Zukić told FENA that next year the Government intends to support small and medium enterprises and crafts and that within the preparations for the budget for 2022 they plan certain funds for that purpose.

He pointed out that the amount for assistance to those companies will amount from four to five million KM.

Zukić added that the budget also plans credit funds in the amount of five to six million KM, and that he will ensure the possibility of applying for loans for seven years with an interest rate of 0.9 percent and a grace period of two years.

“We have increased the funds for that purpose, because we had a little more than two million in the budget for 2021,” he said.

The Minister announced that at the next session of the FBiH Government, they will consider the decree on support for crafts and other independent activities, which is planned to allocate 60 million KM through grants, but for the purpose of reimbursing the costs caused by the crisis due to the pandemic.

“All those who are regular taxpayers and who have managed to keep the appropriate number of employees, will receive these funds,” he said.

Zukić expects that the decree will support about 25,000 craftsmen, but more will be known after the process that follows through the implementation of the decree.
