SARAJEVO, October 20 (FENA) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPCBiH) today confirmed the decision of the Second Instance Disciplinary Commission for Prosecutors of the HJPC BiH, and thus made the final decision on removing Gordana Tadic from the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Six members of the HJPC voted for the dismissal, five members were against and one abstained.
As it has been reviously decided, Gordana Tadić will be transferred to the position of state Prosecutor.
On September 23, the second-instance disciplinary commission voted to remove Gordana Tadić from the position of Chief Prosecutor.
The First Instance Commission found that there was disciplinary responsibility “because tadić failed to comply with the relevant provisions of the TCMS Rulebook and the Council Conclusion of 17 and 18 December 2014, according to which the HJPC BiH instructs the Chief Prosecutors in BiH to ensure that cases are assigned to all prosecutors via TCMS”.
