SARAJEVO, July 27 (FENA) - Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegović received today a delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawa and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh.
The two officials pointed out at the meeting that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are good and friendly, and that there is a mutual interest in preserving and further improving such relations.
Minister Al-Sheikh, conveying the greetings of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Mohammed bin Salman, praised the progress that Bosnia and Herzegovina has made in the past period.
He especially emphasized the importance of reconciliation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the economic potentials and the existence of interest among investors from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the use of these potentials and the development of economic cooperation.
It was agreed that in recent years there has been a noticeable increase in the number of tourists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that there are preconditions for further improvement of cooperation in the field of tourism.
