SARAJEVO, November 20 (FENA) - The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the sponsor of the first regional virtual Fair of Innovation and Entrepreneurship "Sarajevo 2020", announced for November 23 and 24.
It was officially confirmed at yesterday's session of the Presidency of BiH.
Šefik Džaferović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will also address at the opening of the Fair.
The startup studio of the Mozaik Foundation and the Sarajevo Business Forum, as the organizers of the Sarajevo 2020 Fair, state that they are extremely satisfied with the fact that the state leadership of Bosnia and Herzegovina has recognized the importance of the Fair.
The Fair is attended by 200 exhibitors, including more than 160 from small and medium businesses, 48 innovators from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, North Macedonia and Slovenia, and 22 organizations that invest in businesses or provide other types of support for business development.
The jury will also award the Special Award "Sarajevo 2020", which includes the recognition of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) and the right to use the IFIA mark on the product and related information materials.
The prize fund, as well as the entire organization of the Fair, was financially supported by the Governments of Sweden and Switzerland and the Entrepreneurship Academy by EFSE.
The program of the Fair will be opened by Mate Rimac, founder and owner of Rimac Automobili and Greyp Bikesa, as well as Mirza Cifrić, an entrepreneur who is the founder and owner of Veritas Genetics, an innovative company operating in the United States.
