SARAJEVO, November 15 (FENA) - President of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Željko Bakalar said this evening that the CEC was relatively satisfied with the way the election day went.

He stated that most of the polling stations were closed at 7.00 pm and that the elections were conducted in most constituencies without major problems and those that were reported were similar to the ones that appeared in previous election cycles.

According to the data from the Operational Headquarters of the 2020 local elections, based in the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies, they received a total of 116 reports of incidents that could be related to voting violations at polling stations, 51 incidents in the FBiH, 32 incidents in the RS, 33 incidents in the Brčko District of BiH.

Bakalar said at the press conference that according to incomplete data (which do not contain complete data for the basic constituencies of Brčko and Višegrad, Doboj and Neum), the turnout by 7.00 pm at the level of BiH was 47 percent, at the level of the FBiH 46 percent, and the RS about 51 percent.

The CEC received 33 complaints about the violations of election silence.

When it comes to Covid mobile teams, Bakalar stated that a total of 5,356 voters were registered to vote in this manner, and that 222 covid mobile teams were formed and that most teams completed their work.
