SARAJEVO, October 26 (FENA) - Statement of the BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, that Serbs and Croats will demand that BiH function the way they want and if that does not happen they will seek "dissolution", is a direct blow to the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) announced.
They point out that the agreement on the functioning of BiH was reached in Dayton, and therefore Milorad Dodik, like everyone else, has an obligation to respect the Constitution and the laws arising from that agreement.
Every concrete move of Dodik against the Dayton Agreement will mean giving up on it, and thus returning to the situation before Dayton, i.e. to the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dodik should know that Bosnia and Herzegovina was not created by "merging", nor can it be "separated". In particular, this cannot be achieved by a Serb-Croat agreement in a country where Bosniaks make up more than half of population.
Serbo-Croatian attempts to "dissolve" BiH, from Cvetković and Maček, to the agreement between Karadžić and Boban, brought only enormous tragedies to the people in this country. The result in the end was not the disappearance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the judgment for creators of such policies before international courts, the SDA said in a statement.
