SARAJEVO, September 24 (FENA) - Deputy Defense Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mijo Krešić received today in an official visit the US Defense Envoy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brigadier Michael Tarquinto.
As the chairman of the Team for Implementation of the "BiH Reform Program" within the Ministry of Defense of BiH, Krešić informed the guests about the dynamics of implementing 72 tasks that arose from that program for BiH Ministry of Defense.
Krešić and Brigadier Tarquinto agreed that the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH are achieving good results in the given circumstances, but that cooperation and fulfilling the tasks of other ministries and institutions at the state level is crucial for the full implementation of the BiH Reform Program.
Brigadier Tarquinto pointed out that BiH can count on significant US assistance in the implementation of the BiH Reform Program as well as planning of activities for the reform program for 2021, the PR Office of the BiH Ministry of Defense announced.
