SARAJEVO, September 16 (FENA) - The BiH Council of Ministers, at an extraordinary telephone session, approved the Vaccine Procurement Agreement with the Global Vaccine Alliance (GAVI), after adopting the Information on Bosnia and Herzegovina's Accession to the Instrument for Global Access to COVID-19 Vaccine (COVAX).
Obligations to pay the costs of purchased vaccines, arising from the signed Agreement on mutual rights and obligations related to the procurement of vaccines through the Instrument for Global Access to Vaccines for Covid-19, are undertaken by the institutions of the entities and the Brčko District of BiH.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs will continue to monitor the implementation of obligations under the Agreement with the Global Vaccine Alliance (GAVI) on BiH's accession to the Instrument for Global Access to COVID-19 Vaccines, with six-months reports to the BiH Council of Ministers.
Under the latest decisions of the CoM, children minors and spouses of BiH citizens can enter BiH without a COVID test.
The Council of Ministers adopted a Decision amending the Decision on prescribing additional conditions for the entry of foreigners into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This decision enables, in addition to diplomatic and consular staff, entry into BiH without a negative test for the SARS - Cov-2 for the staff of international organizations, and under the same conditions for the diplomatic staff who take office, where the procedure of their accreditation and production of an identification card issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH has not yet been completed.
