BANJA LUKA, July 17 (FENA) - Informal groups of citizens "Justice for David" today expressed content with the judgment of the District Court in Banja Luka on the lawsuit they initiated due to the decision of the communal police regarding the items they placed on a lawn in memory of the murdered young man, David Dragicević.
They were ordered to remove from that public space a heart of stone, flowers and two quinces.
“Our member, Ozren Perduv, on behalf of the group 'Justice for David', filed a complaint on that decision of the communal police to the mayor of Banja Luka, which he rejected as unfounded. The mayor's decision states that Ozren Perduv is an unauthorized person in the proceedings,” it is stated in the press release of the group.
The group then initiated an administrative dispute by filing a lawsuit against the City of Banja Luka, i.e., the mayor, and yesterday they received a final judgment of the District Court in Banja Luka under which the lawsuit was accepted and, as they say, the disputed decision of the mayor was annulled.
In addition, the City is obliged to pay the costs of litigation.
