SREBRENICA, July 12 (FENA) - The Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center thanked domestic and foreign media for their support and top-notch and professional coverage of the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.
"The messages of more than 40 world leaders has not gone unnoticed. Millions of people saw their messages. Without the support we had from journalists, technicians and producers who were in Srebrenica, everything would be much more difficult to achieve," pointed the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center in its announcement.
The center expressed special gratitude to the Public Broadcasting Service of BiH, BHRT, which was key in ensuring and organizing the official broadcast.
"We thank all journalists, producers, cameramen and technicians from numerous public and private, domestic and foreign media outlets, who supported us in the realization and sending the message to the world," stated the center.
The Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center said it would make additional efforts over the following next year to improve media communication practices, provide adequate information and the availability of materials related to the Srebrenica genocide.
