Sattler to hand over medical equipment in Mostar and Trebinje on Monday

SARAJEVO, July 5 (FENA) - Head of the EU Delegation and the EU Special Representative to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler, will visit Mostar and Trebinje on Monday.

During his visit to Mostar, Ambassador Sattler will hand over a donation of four ventilators to the University Clinical Hospital Mostar in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Nevenko Herceg.

As it was announced from the EU Delegation to BiH, the delivery of 20 ultrasound devices donated by the EU for the needs of medical institutions throughout BiH will begin from Mostar.

In Trebinje, Ambassador Sattler and Minister of Health and Social Care of the entity of RS, Alen Šeranić, will hand over medical equipment for the public healthcare institution the Trebinje Hospital, which includes two ventilators and an X-ray machine.

The procurement of equipment was financed by the European Union within the program of assistance for the emergency medical needs of BiH in response to COVID-19, in the total value of seven million euros, which is implemented by UNDP BiH.

As part of his visit to Trebinje, Ambassador Sattler will also meet with the authorities of the City of Trebinje and representatives of non-governmental and youth organizations, announced the EU Delegation to BiH.
