SARAJEVO, June 26 (FENA) - At today's handover ceremony at Sarajevo International Airport, representatives of the United States Armed Forces and NATO handed over another valuable donation of important supplies and equipment for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Sarajevo International Airport received protective equipment and a disinfection tunnel for the purpose of protecting passengers upon entry.
Commander of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General William Edwards with his advisors and Head of the Office for Cooperation in the Field of Defense, Brigadier Corey Shea, as well as representatives of the Sarajevo International Airport attended the handover ceremony.
Since the beginning of the crisis, NATO allies have donated tons of supplies in numerous aid shipments in response to a request made by Bosnia and Herzegovina to the NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC), the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo announced.
